Le Support is a nonprofit social economy organization founded in 1988 to support the intellectually disabled and the work of the Société québécoise de la déficience intellectuelle. Le Support is a dedicated team that works tirelessly to help the cause and the environment. We are proud of our history and accomplishments and we intend to continue to keep up the momentum well into the future!
Over a 30-year period, Le Support has contributed more than $20M to helping the intellectually disabled, making a big difference for thousands of intellectually disabled people and their families. Our dedication is unwavering because the people we help need all the support they can get.
The members of our board of directors are directly affected by intellectual disability. Several of our six members are parents of a child with an ID. They are in quite capable of understanding how very important an organization like Le Support is for the well-being of the community.
Le Support is a close-knit family committed to making a real difference in the lives of the intellectually disabled and their families. All the employees have been striving for years to help and to contribute to improving the environment by giving a second life to the items we collect.
